We had a great time when Bapa (my dad) visited for dinner on wednesday night. I love the pics of him and the boys. Here are a few recent ones of Roman before school this morning. I can't decide what to do with his crazy hair. Andrew and I were thinking about buzzing it for the summer but i can't imagine him without long hair now- what do you think? any suggestions on boy haircuts? i am clueless in this area... oh, and two people in the last month have asked me if he was a girl- really? I mean I know he's cute..but a girl?

Oh girl, I feel your hairy pain! I fret over Thomas' hair all the time. I finally just started cutting it myself because I didn't want to take him and him end up looking like a big boy. I would just take him though and tell them to trim it up but that you like the 'surfer' look! Hopefully they will listen. Good luck. I love the picts of your dad and the boys!

As for a haircut, I LOVE a bowl cut on little boys. Very SOuthern, very traditional!
His hair is so cute! I do love a cute haircut on a little boy, though. How about a modified bowl? Jack's growing into that now....his hair is easier for me to manage when it has some weight to it -- when it's short, it just sticks out or up or sideways!
I like his hair! I think it is so cute. I might just trim it some! I don't know though...he looked cute, too when you had it buzzed! It would be so much cooler in the summer if it was buzzed. I'm trying to figure out what to do with Noah's hair. It is out of control...ALWAYS sticking up!

Either way, Roman will still be a cutie! I think with it buzzed, it will be much cooler in the summer and so easy! I don't know how much I'm with the whole bowl cut. I think that goes with the little boys in smocked outfits...kinda fru-fru for a boy, if you ask me! No offense to everyone else that likes that sort of thing.....
Ok - I think his hair is precious! there is nothing girlie about him but he is pretty! I don't love a bowl cut as much as the rest - it's a little well, bowlish!

Dude, I am so clueless too. All I've learned (after, like, six haircuts for Ben) is that you DON'T get one # buzz over the whole head. For instance, I once said "#5 trimmers all over". And the lady did it. Then, a fellow man hair stylist said "What have you done? No, no, no. If you want a #5, you get #3 on the bottom level, #4 on the middle layer and #5 on the top." I felt so stupid because I was sooo clueless. So...that's all I know. But I think from now on, I'm going with #7 on top, and #6 and #5 on the bottom layers. Okay, long answer. Sorry! :) And he is so darling!! His legs look soooo long in that one photo where they're stretched out in front of him on the boppy thing. He is growing more and more handsome every day!

He does not look like a girl! I absolutely love his hair. If I knew how to style my boys' hair I would let it grow (a little bit), but I always cut it short because I don't know what else to do.
