Matt Comes Home

Matt called on Sunday morning to say he was flying in a few hours from Iraq. He has been gone for almost a year! We knew he may come back this month but had no idea when! Andrew and I went to pick him up from the airport. We then went to Mount Pleasant to suprise Andrews parents. They were so suprised! I love being a part of stuff like that! Matt was able to meet his new nephew, see his sister pregnant for the first time, have lunch at poes, and enjoy some swimming with us at grandmas pool. What a busy but perfect day to celebrate his safe return!

okay...so I am crying. As a military brat and the sister in law of an Army officer that will be leaving for Iraq for 15 months right after his first born enters this world, I appreciate these special homecomings. Please thank him for everything he is doing for our freedom.

Ok, I am crying too!! What precious pictures!! Praise the Lord for him serving our country and for God bringing him home safely. As a mom I can not imagine how Andrew's mom felt, I think I would have just fallen to pieces..ok crying again! Welcome Home! Looking great in that Maya Wrap:)
