Thats what I found myself thinking at various times on Independence Day. Thank you to our service men and women who keep us free and to Jesus for the eternal freedom I have found in knowing and loving Him.
We hit the water park in the morning and the Summerville festivities in the afternoon. Roman got to have a little date with his friend Emma- arn't they precious!?I had fun dressing up my boys (all three of them in matching polo shirts). Andrew entered a hotdog eating contest and claimed second place after eating 7 hotdogs and 8 buns. For the first time ever I heard him say he was full and couldn't eat a thing when I later offered him dinner. We went home to watch the fireworks as we can see alot of them from our house and Roman is terrified of them. He wouldn't even come out of the house.Eventually I figured out he would stand at the upstairs window and watch them and even started to tell me which colors he was seeing ..until the finale when he couldn't keep up- but he sure tried!

Tell Andrew that I am surprised he didn't claim first based on some of the nasty stuff they pulled during Nitro. The boys are precious!
