Zoo Fiesta

We had a wonderful weekend visiting some friends in columbia. Elizabeth was the first friend I made when I moved to Charleston. We met at cheer leading tryouts..i was trying out- she was already on the squad. She now lives and works in Columbia with her husband, Wesley in the CUTEST city house. We left Friday and had a pretty uneventful trip up. Although, i did not enjoy the car ride. I am still so nauseated all the time. We had a fun dinner of pizza, salad, and drinks for the men. When we went up to bed the boys woke up...jude was in the pack n play..roman on the floor. Jude stood up and started laughing at Roman...as he was laughing he pooted..which made Roman laugh...such boys! I woke up early to go to the junior league clean sweep aka HUGE GARAGE SALE...There were crazys waiting at the gate at 4 am. I rolled up around 7:30 for the 8 am start. i did get a few things for the boys but we really don't need anything. It was fun to browse regardless...and yes, i did pickup a baby girl outfit and a baby boy outfit...after that we headed on to the zoo. The boys did great being thrown off the nap and eating routine- they just go with the flow- Jude slept in the stroller when it got to nap time. The highlights were definaltey the penguins and feeding the giraffe..AMAZING! Our God is so creative (and if Elizabeth is reading this..the nubian goat). On the way home I was feeling pregnant- hungry-sick. Ladies- you know what i mean. So we drove around the city until i saw something that i wanted. taco Cids. Authentic mexican cusine..fast. It wa so good. the boys slept the whole way home and I was asleep in bed by 7:30. whew.

Congrats on your pregnancy Lindsey! Such exciting news!! I was so thrilled when Sandy told me right after she told me she was preggie. And, yes, I SO know what you mean about the nausea but hungry at the same time feeling... I craved pizza when I was pregnant with Emily. I ordered an entire Dominos pizza all for myself one afternoon. :/ Hey, you do what works, right? :)

I love the picture of Jude smiling. He has such a beautiful smile with those pearly whites. Looks like you all had a great time at the zoo! I can't wait for us to go together sometime when Grace is older.
