We celebrated Romans birthday last weekend. Can you believe he is 5? wow! We spent some time this past week watching videos of him as a baby- bittersweet! I could go on and on with all the "it goes by so fast" cliches..oh goodness!
Anyway, Titus and Roman are identical! But we will save that for a later blog entry!
Roman asked me 6 monthes ago for a mario kart party. he has been playing mario kart on the wii at his papa and nanas house for the last year. We searched some ideas on the internet where he found a pic of the cake i ended up making. he has been so excited about his mario cake...and anyone who knows me knows i love a challenge!
We did the mario cake with mushroom cupcakes.Mario fruitsnacks and balloons rounded out the table. It was perfect weather and everyone had a blast playing on the playground!
Roman got some great gifts- about 5 transformers and a remote control monster truck from Uncle Ross among others!
He is saying the cutest things lately. We were driving home the other night and he says momna- if our house breaks then we get a new house. umm....i guess he generalizes that our van broke and we got a new van and toys break and we get new toys...lets just hope our house isnt going to break!
He loves transformers, and toy story, dressing up in his woody and transformer costumes, he also loves board games, and singing in the van. He loves singing in his auntie Sharons childrens choir and he is constantly laughing at Jude or Titus. He is such a joy and I feel so blessed God chose us to raise him.wow!

I can't believe he is 5!! You did an AWESOME job on his cake! You have gotten really good at that!! I need to get some pointers. Do they taste as good as they look?! :)
