Homeschooling

Roman started Kindergarten last week. We decided to homeschool this year for many reasons which will be written in another blog. We had so much fun. My desire for him is to cultivate an atomosphere of education in our home and a true LOVE for learning. We started day one with the first day of creation. Everyday we did reading, writing, math, a day of creation, art in making a creation book..and of course in true charlotte mason style...he had lots of time to play with his brothers, run outside, nap, and focus on some "moral training." Each day we also had a "special" snack which represented the day of creation we studied. We also went and picked peaches off the trees in the neighbourhood for the third day when God created the fruits and seeds of the eart,,wonder how those whole foods, organic peaches got there? ha!
