A Day to Play.....

Andrew took his first official non sick day off work since we bought the business almost two years ago so we had family day on Friday and spent it downtown. We started off with the aquarium which was great. Romie loved the fish and Andrew had never been before so he had a blast too! then we hit waterfront park for lunch and Roman played in the fountain. He found plenty of "friends" to play with including the cute little girl,Ava, in the picture. After that we were walking to Ben and Jerrys for ice cream when we ran into Romans Godparents, Lori and Rich.We spent the rest of the afternoon with them which was very special.In Charleston place they bought Jude his snazzy sheep onesie from petit bateau and Roman a brio train on a string which he pulled behind us all the way back to the parking garage. ..this made a 20 minute walk about 40 minutes because everytime the train hit a bump it would flip over and he would have to fix it..but he was so thrilled with his new train..it was really sweet.This was maybe the second time EVER we let Roman skip his nap and as you can see from the pic he passed out on the way home. It couldn't have been a more beautiful day.We felt very blessed.
