Andrew and I celebrated our five year anniversary on Sunday. We laughed all day..thats something that attracted me to Andrew is that he brings out my silly side...and he "gets" my sesne of humor. We left the kids at Ros and Perrys on Sat night...so we could sleep in on Sunday. First stop: the waterpark for some slide racing..did I mention he also brings out my competitive side? Then we decided to decorate our van..the other side not pictured says "honk for the newlyweds." We are silly but we were getting honked at all day..he he. Then onto some shopping (for me)...did i mention Andrew is an awful gift- giver?..so this is a much better option- let me pick out something for myself!...then onto Mount Pleasant for a late lunch at Brixx..pizza, salads, and drinks...and lots of laughs. We toasted to the next five years and each other...its only been five years but man, we have been busy!

I laughed at the whole Andrew being a bad gift giver....I remember a few of the gifts he;s given...and you're right, you're much better off picking out something for yourself :)
Happy 2 day late anniversary! That is so exciting. I don't know why but your 5th anniversary seems to be pretty significant, like people can't say, "oh, you haven't been married that long" anymore and they seem to respect the fact that you have been together for more than a few years. Does that make sense? Anyway, congrats. Hope to see you Thurs.
