A Dallas Whirlwind...........

Andrew and I flew into Dallas Friday early afternoon and back out this morning. We left for the airport at 5:20! This was for his annual franchise convention. We look forward to it every year. He gets so encouraged in what he does and I get to meet other families who live the same professional lifestyle we do. It really is one big family. We played Bingo on Friday night..I think they gave away over 1,000 dollars cash( we didn't win!!).
I also look forward to the super nice hotel and catered food. This is the second convention I have been pregnant at and I enjoy every minute spent in the luxurious king sized bed. The mattress, the sheets, the comforter....everything is so amazing....When I get home I also feel the need to still eat dessert after every meal. The chocolate mousse cake was my favorite this year!

God really blessed our trip and even allowed us to get on an earlier connection at the last minute without having to pay. When we got their Friday we went with some friends of ours to the Galleria for lunch and shopped. I loved forever 21 and the gap maternity store. While the guys were in meeting on Saturday afternoon I walked across the street for a pedicure and then layed out by the pool and then back to heavenly bed to nap...

Andrew and I truly enjoyed reconnecting after the craziness of the last couple monthes and Roman and Jude had a great time being passed around and spoiled by their grandparents.

Jude Update: The allergy tests have all come back negative although last week he had two random rashes- one unkown and one that cut through his skin due to the adhesive they used in the patching process. We did survive all 5 doctors appointments and are optimistic that he is gaining weight and his symptoms are under control! Now we are going to work on an elimination type approach to keeping his symptoms in check. We are forgoing the blood work as it has a 25% false positive rate and based on his skin test results feel at this point it wouldn't accomplish anything.

So for now we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Titus. 8 More Weeks!!!! I don't have pics b/c I forgot my camera. But we did buy a disposable which I will develop and scan in at some point.

Hi!! Can you tell me more about the false positive with the blood work bc we are testing jake for a milk allergy and was thinking about doing the blood test verses guessing with eliminating food??
Thanks!!
