Christmas

Wow! What a great Christmas season. I am just now recovering my house and family. We had four christmases. We went to church Christmas eve. It was a great time as most of kates (step mom) family was there to celebrate. We took up two whole seacoast rows. Go us! Then we stopped by Roz's(andrews mom) where she gave the boys and me matching pajamas. We headed home quickly to get the boys in bed for the big day...and santa and mrs clause enjoyed a glass of champagne by the christmas tree.
On Christmas morning I woke up at 4: 30 to hear rustling. It was "santa" wrapping my presents. Andrew and I had agreed not to get each other anything as it was enough watching the kids on Christmas morning- and our parents still spoil us with gifts and stockings- love that!
Well, i went back to sleep and then took roman and judes stocking up to their door and left it there around 6. We told Roman before bed that he could go and open his door to see what was there when he woke up. When we hear him we looked through the video monitor to see what he was doing.He went and looked out the window ( i guess to see if it was morning) then he crawled back into bed. 5 minutes later he did the same thing (so cute) then he went to the window again. This time (i guess he decided it was time) he went and got his stocking. As we eatched him open it i realized he had taken judes stocking so i had to run up stairs and intercede!
At 7:30 I went upstairs to take Jude his stocking- he was still fast asleep. He got excited when he realized there was crayons and candy involved. After that we went downstairs and the boys opened their own piles of gifts and played until we had to leave for mount pleasant.
We arroived at my dads to an AMAZING breakfast. I always feel so loved when someone caters to my veggie diet. Kate had made veggie sausage and heinz veggie baked beans- that and a couple mimosas- I was in heaven!! After breakfast we all opened gifts. so much fun watching the boys- Jude loved his little people farm- and Roman loved his bumble bee helmet and arm thing.Andrew and i got a computer amoungst other things! After all the gifts were open we watched some Mr Bean..then it was time to .
We buckled in for the long haul to andrews parents house..its at LEAST a mile away.phew.
When we got there we opened gifts with Andrews parents and Sharon, Ben,and Grace. Jude was so tired and opening everyones gifts so he went down for a nap! After gifts we had Christmas dinner- it was so yummy- salad, ham, potatoes, green beans, and an amazing cherry chocolate cake by Sharon. The boys loved their toys and played with them after dinner.

The next day we headed to Hampton to celebrate with Andrews dads side of the family. The kids had a blast running around the pond and riding in the wagon and boat- a little boys dream!

On Sunday we celebrated in Mount pleasant with Roz's side of the family.The kids sang Christmas carols and played with new toys and all their cousins.The food and drink was plentiful and a fun time was had by all!
