Romans room really needed a makeover. It was so blah and dark..cluttered. We had started doing a rockstar theme but it didnt really fit him and never really came together.
We decided on the dinosaur theme because I found the bedding at Ross for 12 dollars. The biggest splurge was the rug which i got at target for 20.00. I couldnt pass it up because the colors were perfect! and it tied everything else together. We got 3d puzzles which will aid as decoration at michaels for 1.00-3.00. The lamp i re did from goodwill. It was three dollars and I painted a toy dinosaur we had and added rocks with a glue gun from the dollar store. I painted the shade and added ribbon and glued tiny plastic dinosaurs on crawling up the metal post.
The wallpops were from ac moore and i used two 40 percent off coupons. The stuffed iguanas were from the dollar store and the do do bird with perfect matching colors was at ross clearance for 2.00.
The tree and bamboo we already had outside so i just cleaned them off and brought them in. We got rid of a bunch of clutter and the big old tv and are having a garage sale this weekend.
